THE SUMO HALL HIRAKUZA OSAKA, a sumo entertainment show hall for inbound visitors, is scheduled to open in Namba Parks in early summer 2024. Visitors will not only be able to enjoy a sumo show in English while dining, but will also be able to enjoy hands-on entertainment such as meeting sumo wrestlers (former sumo wrestlers) on the actual sumo ring (stage) and taking commemorative photos.

Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB) is glad to announce a new subsidy program for corporate events!

 

For incentive groups with over 400 visitor nights and planning to hold corporate events (e.g. gala dinner, get-together party, etc.) in Tokyo city, are eligible to apply for TCVB new subsidy for your venue rental!

 

Event venues such as convention facilities, hotels, banquet facilities, or unique venues (on those listed on Tokyo Unique Venues) which are directly related to the event organizing, are acceptable.

 

Please note that your group has to be a non-confirmed group to be eligible for this subsidy program as you will be required to provide a competing destination proposal besides Tokyo city.

 

Kindly refer to the Application Guidelines below provided by TCVB for the detailed application procedures and contact TCVB, who will be happy to answer any questions, before submitting your application.

Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) has announced the latest Accredited Tour Operators List on August 2023.

Do note that hard copies at JNTO KL office have limited stock, so the distribution will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
