Japan is a country with Muslim minority, but nowadays Muslim tourists can enjoy Japan with ease as there is an increasing number of hotels, accommodations, restaurants and facilities that can provide the Halal or Muslim-friendly services.

 

Here we would like to share some of the latest updates on the facilities and businesses that can cater to the Muslim needs and preferences in Japan. 

Muslim-Friendly Tour and Food Delivery Services

Japan Muslim Tour provides Halal tour guides, Japanese cuisine experiences, and Halal food delivery for Muslim travelers visiting Japan. 

 

They arrange private Muslim-friendly tours in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. They also offer Japanese cooking workshops where you can learn how to make sushi, ramen, takoyaki, etc with halal ingredients in the traditional Japanese way.

 

Muslims can enjoy Japan without doubt with these unique experiences!

Muslim-Friendly Support in Keihan Area

The tourism industry of major tourist spots along the main line of the Keihan Electric Railway across Osaka and Kyoto area is supported by the Keihan Group. Keihan Group is actively working with various of businesses/ companies to attract many customers from all over the world to the areas. In line with this, the needs of Muslim travelers are also not forgotten.  
 
1) Tourist Information Center with prayer room
 
If you arrive in Kyoto and need some guidance or information about sightseeing spots, accommodations, restaurants, etc for Kansai area, you can visit the Kansai Tourist Information Center at 3rd floor of Kyoto Tower. Muslims prayer room is there and equipped with the wudhu' space and all needed prayer tools.  
2) Hotel restaurant with vegetarian, vegan and Muslim-friendly meals
 
Hyssop Restaurant at Good Nature Hotel Kyoto has an open-air atrium and calm interior. Guests can relax and enjoy cuisine featuring the natural elements such as vegetables, vegan, and Muslim-friendly menu options.

Halal and Muslim-Friendly Souvenirs

Halal-Ya is offering many selections of Halal-certified and Muslim-friendly products, suitable for Muslim travelers to buy some souvenirs for their family members and friends. 
 
Not only snacks or food, but they are also selling hijabs that made from kimono. Various colors of hijabs that you can choose for yourself or for souvenir to your loved ones! 
How to get their products? 
You can go to their flagship store in Asakusa, or their satellite store at Harajuku Tourist Information Center. 
Another option is, you can buy online during your travel in Japan and the items will be delivered to your staying hotel, or any address in Japan, or you can also pick up at one of their stores (in Asakusa or Harajuku).
Muslims can enjoy sightseeing or shopping in Asakusa area without worry where to find the praying space because Halal-Ya is also providing a praying space at their store.
