Safety and security remain as one of the key factors while travelling internationally or domestically. Japan is no exception. Shops, restaurants and accommodations have come out with their own safety commitments, and among them, some renowned hotel chains in Japan have established their own protocol to protect their guests. These protocols are based on the guidelines set by Japan Hotel Association in order for hotels in Japan toprovide a safe and clean hotel environment. While we have previously introduced in our previous newsletters on some of the efforts done by some hotels in Japan, this article will be the Part 2 of information on safety of security of Japan hotels.

MICE Showcase 2020

 

The global pandemic has had significant impact on the MICE industry and it has initiated innovation and a need for new & evolved safety procedures in order to welcome the ‘new normal’ whilst still delivering a high quality and successful event.

 

Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel recently hosted their annual MICE Showcase 2020, where guests can experience the AV Technologies executed for a hybrid event format and exercise social distancing at the outdoor reception etc.

JR-West Hotels introduces new “Clean & Safety” hygiene standards in order to prioritize the health and safety of customers and employees. Even amidst this new way of life, the hotels will continue to strive to create uncompromising cleanliness and a hygienic environment so that customers can enjoy a safe and comfortable stay.
