Japan anime is something fond by people from all around the world.
Even if you are not an anime lover, you must also have heard about these famous anime such as "Attack on Titan", "Detective Conan", etc.
So today, we would like to introduce to you some anime related spots in Japan and you might want to visit them on your next visit to Japan! |

The Largest Comic Book Published
The world's most popular original manga series, "Attack on Titan(進撃の巨人/Shingeki no Kyojin)" ended this past April.
A commemorative "Attack on Titan for Titans" special limited edition has been released, in an oversized format recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest comic book ever published.

For those wanting to step into the world of the Titans, we recommend the community-integrated project, "Shingeki no Kyojin in HITA” in Hita City, Oita Prefecture, the hometown of the original author, Hajime Isayama.

At a local dam, you can watch the terrifying Titans appear from behind a wall using a special AR smartphone app. Remember to take a photo of this opening scene in the first Titans attack! |

There are many sports-themed anime and manga, and “Captain Tsubasa” is one of the most famous works, known around the world!

|
The whole city of Katsushika in Tokyo, the hometown of the author Mr. Yoichi Takahashi, is celebrating the work by building statues of the characters and operating specially-decorated buses.
|
|
|
Tsubasa fans should definitely add these exciting locations to their next trip.

Yotsugi station, on the Keisei Oshiage Line in Katsushika, feels like a theme park with lively pictures of the characters everywhere you look and the show’s theme song used for the train’s door chime. Located near the Tokyo Skytree, Yotsugi station is a short 10-minute train ride from Asakusa.

Another popular spot among Tsubasa fans is Urawa-Misono station on the Saitama Stadium Line, the nearest station to Japan’s foremost soccer stadium “Saitama Stadium 2002”. The station has a huge stained-glass window about 20 meters wide with 99 “Captain Tsubasa” characters on it.

Have you heard of "Detective Conan", the little hero of Japan? The original manga "Detective Conan" has been serialized since 1994, and published in 25 countries and regions. The anime has also been broadcast in 40 countries, and the 24th movie, has been released in April 2021 and caused a major hit in Japan.
Hokuei-cho, Tottori Prefecture is the hometown of the author, Mr. Gōshō Aoyama. It is also known as Conan Town and welcomes visitors.
